America the Beautiful

Working notes
When mothers have their way
They will not send their
Sons (fathers/brothers/nephews/cousins/husbands)
to war.
Instead, they will say,
"Turn your spears into digging sticks
And plant food for everyone.
Dance with us
under the moon.
And leave your (war) games
behind.
We implore you:
Reach down and find your
real balls."
