Here We Are
Mary Lucking
Working notes
"Here We Are" is a suite of artworks that tell the history of the neighborhood at the location of Indian School Road and Central Avenue in Phoenix Arizona. The station is across the street from an historic Phoenix Indian School. Given the complex history of the site, the project includes hundreds of hours of research in cooperation with community groups to ensure a broad and balanced telling of the stories that make up the area’s history.
